Template is not valid UTF-8 stream

Hello,
I tried to place a Adobe Flash swf file in my default.latte file.

But I keep getting the “Template is not valid UTF-8 stream.”? was wondering if the framework supported swf files. if so is there a option that I must turn on to be able to run a swf file?

Could you be more specific about how have you tried to do so? Embedding flash to a Latte template is not a reason what the template should not be in UTF-8.

Thanks for the reply I have figure it out, I had a bad character that was throwing things off
