Ublaboo\DataGrid and multiple checkboxes instead of MultiSelect

Hi,
did anyone use Ublaboo\DataGrid and extended it with some sort of
FilterMultiCheckbox?
Currently DataGrid supports only FilterMultiSelect.
My goal is to get all filters shown on rendering and the user checks the filters
and sees, what he has selected.
Checkboxes are imho better than selects with bootstrap-select.
If someone did that OR has an idea how to reach the goal to show all options
immediately (selected and unselected), I would appreciate it.
